Despite facing personal challenges, Dr. Awuzie’s commitment to empowering vulnerable Nigerians and fostering innovation in Africa has remained unwavering.

In a year he described as both “challenging” and “fulfilling,” Dr. Awuzie revealed that he refrained from personal luxuries, purchasing no new clothes or shoes — except for a small luggage bag in Abuja. Instead, his focus was on changing lives and investing in the future of Nigeria.

Key Milestones in 2024

  1. Educational Support for 100 Vulnerable Students
    Dr. Awuzie funded JAMB/University Matriculation Examination forms for at least 100 Nigerian students, opening the doors to higher education for underprivileged youth.

  2. Empowering Entrepreneurs
    Demonstrating his passion for fostering Nigerian businesses, Dr. Awuzie led 10 Nigerian entrepreneurs on a business tour to China, providing exposure and opportunities for growth.

  3. Successful Conferences and Tech Innovations

    • Hosted the Evolve 2.0 Conference in Lagos, a platform promoting innovation and empowerment.
    • Unveiled the Big Brain Naija initiative in Calabar, inspiring young talents.
    • Launched the Gemsbok I.T Academy and the cutting-edge GemsbokGPT 2.0, contributing to advancements in AI and tech education.
  4. Groundbreaking Web3 Projects
    Through Transhuman Coin, Dr. Awuzie and his team featured on the Killer Whales TV Show and began developing a Web3-based medical ecosystem set to launch soon.

Challenges and Personal Battles

While celebrating these accomplishments, Dr. Awuzie shared the toll this year has taken on him emotionally and personally. He mourned the loss of loved ones and admitted to fighting some of life’s hardest battles, saying:
"I’ve fought the hardest battles in my life this year… I’m emotionally drained and exhausted."

Despite these struggles, he reassured supporters that commitments would be fulfilled, including the pending distribution of over $3,500 to supporters of Transhuman Coin.
